OPlayer - video player App Reviews

Love it!

My favorite daily media player for audio and some video is OPlayer which is terrific for playing downloaded MP3 files or podcast type audio files with very low CPU and memory usage. Once you have OPlayer set up correctly it can be so enjoyable to use with one-hand. OPlayer has easy sliding gestures for seeking forward and back along with volume and brightness control and comes with playlists and more. Tips in Settings: Turn off "Simple Player Screen" Settings / Theme: Turn On "Display File Name in 2 Lines" Turn On "One Hand" Controller by using the (three dots ... menu) in upper right corner to access six different player features including a Sleep Timer and more. Lastly I hope the developer continues support for iOS 8 for older 4S devices which are used as dedicated media and audio players :-)

Smb protocol is no longer available with Apple Timecapsule. Please fix it as soon as possible.

I know this app has many features and I cant speak of the reliability of all of them, only the one feature I regularly use. Until a recent update (not sure which one but its been a problem for about a month or so) I used to use the in app browser to download video files. Now when I attempt to do this it only gives a streaming option, no more menu item for download. Was this feature intentionally removed or is it just not working? Either way, fix it for 5 stars!

The app is great but an option to download subtitle is needed!

DO NOT BUY THIS APP OR REMOVE THE ADs!!! You will regret it!!! Once upon a time, a long long time ago, Oplayer was the best. I paid $4.99 for this app and now with each update You get less service, in the pass You could download something to watch later like while traveling underground or where there is no wifi but that was the past now if you dont have wifi you cant use Oplayer at all, and thats NOT what I paid for!!! I WOULD LIKE IT FIXED OR A REFUND AND IF ITs NOT FIXED, I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER APP FOR THIS COPANY AGAIN!!!!

Was an awesome app, until the download feature was removed. I shouldnt have updated this app.

The newer version resolve lot is issue and enable copying a folder rather than single files I love it

Dont listen to the haters. This app is a great Swiss Army Knife for jiggling open stubborn videos. Yes, it has its flaws, but its safer and more stable than "two versions ago".

Hands down one of my favorite apps on my iPhone - has saved me from long, boring plane rides and is also an awesome music player. Great work!

Fantastic app! Love the gestures to change the volume, brightness, and fast forward and rewind. This is one well thought out and reliable application.

This is practically the only app Im using now for music and video. The user interface is constantly improving with some great features: sliding volume and brightness. Adjustable playback speed is a GREAT feature which can save lots of time when listening to podcasts.

Bring back AC3 and 5 stars.

The SAMBA still hasnt been fixed, so I use wifi xfer. Best video player app that Ive used. 5 stars when SAMBA fixed.

When using an app I dont want it to take too long to figure out. Im an average non techy person. It should flow from step to step. I hit create playlist enter the name then what? I create a folder put stuff in it then what? Wheres the folder? Happy to be able to play MP3 files on my iPhone and iPad though. Kinda wish apple themselves were friendlier & compatible.
