User Friendly...I wish

When using an app I dont want it to take too long to figure out. Im an average non techy person. It should flow from step to step. I hit create playlist enter the name then what? I create a folder put stuff in it then what? Wheres the folder? Happy to be able to play MP3 files on my iPhone and iPad though. Kinda wish apple themselves were friendlier & compatible.
